The recruitment for ProtoLAB Workshops 2022 is now open!
ProtoLAB are design and build workshops where students of architecture and related fields have a unique opportunity to design and then construct architectural structures. The workshops are divided into online design part and on site production process, which will take place in the beautiful city of Wrocław, in Poland.
The design online workshops will take place between 22nd and 29th of July 2022. Participants will work in international groups on one of the given design assignments. The design part will be complemented by lectures on design and production methods, material characteristics, sustainable design and much more.
The production phase will take place between 8th and 14th of August 2022 in old tram depot transferred into students’ activity spot Czasoprzestrzeń (eng. Timespace).
Participants will learn how to effectively and safely use professional building tools and will construct structures designed during the first part of the workshops.
Both design and building workshop will be run by international team of excellent experts in the field of design and building technology.
